Learning and Building

Every pilot wants to know what conditions he/she may be flying in! In order for you to get a better look and understanding of how many different types of clouds there are, go to this web site: http://ww2010.atmos.uiuc.edu/(Gh)/guides/mtr/cld/cldtyp/home.rxml

Hopefully looking at the picture above, you have some idea as to what each cloud is. Since you are starting to get the hang of everything, what I want you to do is build a little model to help you remember some of the clouds.

Here's what you will need to do:
1. Pick 2 of your favorite clouds that differ from one another.
2. Gather cotton balls, clue, cardboard, and paint.
3. On the coardboard put down cotton balls in whatever pattern best represents the cloud and then paint it in a way that represents the cloud.

This is for you to be able to visually see what certain clouds look like and how two clouds may differ from one another in looks.
